GoWave System Reaches TRL 8 Milestone Following Successful Qualification Test
We are pleased to announce a significant milestone in the technical development of our GoWave connectivity system. Following a comprehensive phase of qualification tests, the system has successfully demonstrated its performance and stability in real-world environments.
Our engineering team has completed a structured testing process across three main deployment stages:
-
Proof of Concept: Validated through extensive laboratory and field testing on ground vehicles.
-
System-Level Engineering Prototype: Tested onboard an 8-meter vessel to ensure operational functionality at sea.
-
Full Operative Product: Concluded with field trials on land vehicles and onboard the vessel "Rosaria Lauro" (Lauro Fleet) on March 13, 2026.
-
Based on the positive outcomes of these trials, the GoWave system has officially achieved Technology Readiness Level 8 (TRL 8). This marks the transition to a full operative product, keeping the project on track to reach the final TRL 9 target by the second half of 2026.
In parallel with these technical achievements, patents have been filed under a European Provisional Patent application. This legal framework protects the proprietary core innovations of the GoWave system, specifically:
-
Geo-aware failover capabilities
-
Advanced cybersecurity protocols
-
The integrated repeater function
-
These successful qualification tests confirm the maturity of our technology as we move closer to full commercial deployment, fulfilling our commitment to delivering reliable, continuous, and secure connectivity.
